Located on the ninth floor of the Hyatt Place London City East, our culture is simple, intimate, tailored luxury with an east London flourish and personality. Ours is truly where ‘the city’ meets the east. Art of local and international artists adorn the walls, including the art of Jay Kaes®, our gin-led bar, showcases eight expertly crafted signature cocktails that carry their own unique local story, crafted in our own drink’s lab, creating new flavour profiles not found anywhere else in London.
Each cocktail is designed to be enjoyed with a paired bite-sized dish that has been forged to enhance the PocketSquare experience, each an expression of our distinctive location.
Curated Interior Design
Our bold interiors, a palette of woven velvets, striking pattern, natural wood and copper tones, combine to form a statement design. Mirrored surfaces reflect perfectly the ever-changing light from the open plan terrace, in a constant gaze eastward to Canary Wharf, and in the shadow of ‘The City’.

Open from the afternoons, we are a bar for intimate hangouts, after work business drinks, through to exclusive use parties. Join us Friday and Saturday when our resident DJs and music artists turn up the beat, the heat and atmosphere to 10. The PocketSquare house rule: if you're really feeling it, go for 12.
Please note advance bookings are only available for 6 persons or more.
Access is restricted after 8pm for persons under the age of 18. The outdoor terrace has seating available on a first-come first served basis. Arrive early to secure a spot at this popular bar.
